I recently did the spark plugs (Paid my dads Mechanic $100 for the job) and when these came out I was suprised to find out that there is some white stuff on the insulator and electrode. Some are fully covered in white stuff and some are partially/half covered. I think they are like this because they were overheated.
The Original plugs that came from the factory were changed at 60K miles
They were changed with the Hot type plugs in Florida.
I then changed the plugs again at 128K miles and they came out like this.
You can see I put in OEM Plugs.
