Gonna be an extremely difficult sell, anyone interested will have to pay cash for it. Banks won't give a big loan for that car. Market sucks etc... The salvage title is bad news as well. Rule of thumb is salvage title = half the value of that car without salvage title.

I'm with 240z4u. 99 percent of lenders won't do a secured loan on a car that old... unless you are really lucky or a gifted salesman, I would plan on holding onto that car for maybe 6+ months.

You could trade it for a gixxer 600 or something.

The real question is WHY are you getting rid of the car?

Seems to me someone will wanna trade something, its a matter of it being worth the money and something you want. Don't trade for someone elses crapbox project. At least you know what was done janky on your own car.

i agree, the economy is pretty bad right now; dropping $7-8k cash on a car is tough. try craigslist or the classified ads on NICO
