Hey all, my wife has decided that she's wanting to get rid of her vert, it needs some work and we're too broke to fix it. It's all stock except for the stereo.

It's a 1993, Red 240SX SE, about 176k miles, just had the fuel pump replaced, new alternator. I know it needs a high pressure power steering hose, the front suspension is suspect, and just this morning it started overheating. I haven't gotten a chance to get it to a shop but I'm praying that it's not a head gasket. She said it started to steam a bit so she pulled over, and when she opened the hood there was antifreeze everywhere. I haven't been by to take a look yet.

The interior is in pretty good shape, typical door issues. The top is original and works very well. the back window is a little scuffy but still serves it's purpose. The paint is ok, there are spots where the clear coat has chipped away. No body damage, no wrecks.

I know the post is probably useless without pics but I don't have any right now. I'll update with some later.

If she saw steam before stopping the HG is probably toast.

With blown HG, guessing around a grand if everything is fixable.

if you fix that blown head gasket, you could probably sell it for 2500, but id say less than 1000 if it isnt fixed

That's about what I figured. I took it to a shop earlier after hours, I'll have em look at it tomorrow. When we went to get it, I added some water to the radiator. We drove it for about 1/2 a mile til it started to overheat again and we pulled over, I opened the hood and it looked like there was a leak in the hose on top of the radiator. Wish me luck.
