Heres some info:

1966 DATSUN ROADSTER

*Clear Title, Currently Register til June 2007 *No Rust, Straight Body, Mostley Everything has been Re-Chromed.. Was Repainted a couple of years ago by person that work at a paint and body shop. Custom Striping and Louvers on the Hood (see pics). Even the dash is custom paint. I have too many projects...I lost interest, my lost is your gain! **Getting Rare to find these Roadsters** About the Roadster: It needs wiring put back together (see pics). The roadster did run at one point Battery was relocated to the trunk Everything in engine seem to be there I have a pair of Datsun Seats, but are in terrible condition and it will need recovering(included in sale) Right now is has Miata Seats(not bolted down)... Needs Dash Pad Carpet in good Shape Mahogony Wood Steering Wheel Diamond Plate back Panel and was going to diamond plate Door Panels as well. Also Included in the sale are door aluminum sills that goes around door Panels Box in the trunk are the rest of the stuff for the car (included in sale) Wiper arms, inside door latch, toggle switches, screws, air cleaner..... Roll Bar (not included)

I was thinking of gettting a miata but it got sold pretty quickly then i found this. Is it worth it?

It's possibly worth $2000. What motor is it? What chassis?

Oh, and "no rust" = LIAR. All Datsuns came with rust as a dealer-installed option.

It's just a matter of how much.

I hate you guys!that car here in the rust belt would bring 3500-5k, very rare in these aprts, as they all rusted away years ago, and wiht the L20b it would smoke a miata in a strait line, I gotta admit taht I do like miata's, they are well engineered and very dependable and not covered in 30 years of rust!, also I find the miata shifter to be the best designed and placed stock shifter I have experienced, the datsun however is gonn ahold it's value or go up, the miata is gonna continue down, the miata si a great car is you want something you can trust to start every time and get you there and back no matter the distance, the roadster due to age, might be better suited for staying closer to home, or at least be prepared to tweek the carbs from time to time

get it and drop in a SR20DET... ive seen a few of those with that swap... the cars are clean and fast.... =)
