Type 'Ksport Coilovers' into the search bar. After reading the results, I bet you're gonna make this face:

General consensus? We don't like 'em. But NICO's owner/CEO has Ksports Airbag suspension on his project S13. But those two things are entirely different.

The cheapest and lowest quality coilover that I would consider buying would be Megan Streets. They shouldn't cost any more than $900. But they'll get even cheaper around the holidays as vendors start having their crazy sales. Parts Shop Max is another great/cheap coilover at $1000.

But wait until around late November to buy. You'll see awesome deals everywhere...

Here are some pictures of the K-Sports sitting my garage.

The rears. Both blown obviously.

A closeup of one of the rears.

The fronts. Notice that one dry one? That's the one coilover that isn't blown. Pretty crazy that one of them even somewhat survived. The wet one, obviously blown, leaked so much fluid that it doesn't even compress any more. It was unsafe so I stopped driving my car when that happened.

I think they came up with a better design with less problems. Regardless of reliability, the ride quality sucks too.

I think they were under two years old. They came on the car, I would have never purchased them myself. The guy that sold me the car said one of the coilovers had already been replaced under warranty also.

edit: I also want to clarify the front one was already leaking a small amount of fluid when I bought the car. The warranty had just run out. So that was already two failures within practically a year.
