What do you guys think about Microtech standalone?

Im planning to get a standalone unit as my next mod for my CA motor, just to get my car running the best it should be. We have a tuner shop here who is specialize in Microtech and have dyno to tune with wideband. My cost including installation and two hours of dyno time would be US1800.

Personally I have experience with AEM EMS on my Honda Prelude, which is a plug and play unit and very user-friendly. Unfortunately they dont have an application for CA motor.

I thought about getting the Apexi Power FC unit, but nobody here is really familiarize with it.

Just wondering if anyone else here have experience with the Microtech? What is your impression and how much power were you able to extract with it? Thank you
