the sprung and unsprung has the same clamping loads.....why go unsprung?? sprung is more freindly as far as the engagment. unsprung is like an on off swicth. more of a headache to me.

I have the 6-puck sprung and my goal is 400-450... why would you go with an unsprung when a sprung will more then cover your goal and help driveability.

I have a friend with an Unsprung 4 with a 2 way LSD, its nearly impossible to drive on the streets, I HIGHLY recommend going with the sprung 6 puck, I drove lucky 7's car one time, the clutch was a bit annoying, but had a really good solid feel and solid engagement.

Street, Joe but what is the differ on street, track, and drag? Little noobish thing to say. I work all the time 12 hours a day, everyday, and had on 30 min to work on project a day. Nail salon sucks. I even have to work overtime for like 4 hours over almost everyday because my shop seems to pick every customers like crazy like comes in groups of 4. First group of four in, then they get out, and here comes 2 groups of 4. More money but no freakin time. I even go school also. I'm tryin to do the best that I could to get the job done.

go with the hdg6, part number for the rb25 ns3hdg6, its sprung 6 puck. i have this and a aasco flywheel and its easily streetable but will still hold up to plenty of abuse. i had a unsprung 6 puck in my last car and liked it but in stop and go traffic it can get frustrating.

sprung isnt that bad guys come on. and half the people that do have problems are the one that do not adjust the clitch pedal at all and think its the clutches fault. i adjusted mine and its fine now, sure its stiff but i cant feather it like any other clutch.

well it mostly depends on your power, but how the car is used makes a bearing on it too. if the car is a racecar, and only used for lets say road racing. you can get away with a very harsh/strong clutch because you are never going to street drive the car, and need the least amount of "slop" in your clutch for getting the crispest and quickest shifts possible.

but if the car is a mild mannered street car, you dont want to struggle with your clutch EVERY time you press it down. you dont NEED a clutch like that.

I have always said to overbuild your clutch because you will always want more power. but an unsprung 6 puck is crazy for a 300hp street car lol

a SPRUNG 6 puck would be great. it will hold all your power, and still be streetable.

I ran the act unsprung 6 puck as a daily for a year, stock RB25. It was rough engagement for the street and chattered a lot. So I switched over to the sprung 6 puck, love it. Very streetable.
