i dunno, i might buy these in this exact color, they are 17" and put slightly larger BFG mud terrains

should i sell my old rims and do this or what?!? (you know what my QX4 looks like)
I think if you put those on your truck your box will end up getting jacked. They look pretty sick though. I was looking at 17's but some convinced me to go with 16's because the tire selection is limited. You gonna go for 32's?

box??

those look solid, i love that sorta bling, total off road look, youll look all business out in baja (your so lucky) and stylin and profilin on the streets of cali so the honeys will not think your a total redneck. LOL

they look like theyd be pretty intricate to clean, but if your like me, thats a good thing.

Sell ur old wheels cuz those look like theyll cost ya! how much for the whole setup with tires? Dude im excited i wanna see those!

I have seen two cars with these on them, one was a dark burgundy F150 with a big lift on it and large nobby tires and the other was a black 4 door jeep. They are very nice.

As far as your box, you have to be the one to decide that based on where you live and where you park. I'd also talk to your insurance company on what it takes to insure the extras if you have not done so. State laws are different, in VA the insurance company has to cover all after market item eve n if they are not reported to them. Some make you keep all receipts which is a good idea, take photos etc. There may be depreciation on the cost of they are ever lost.

I am not sure what you mean by no center caps either. Maybe one that isn't so diesel F250ish and smaller?

Here is the email I got from Geico on insuring extras:

"It has come to our attention that some GEICO documentation previously indicated that physical damage coverage does not cover loss for custom options on an owned auto or would only cover such loss if the existence of those options was previously reported to us. This notice was sent in error to Virginia policyholders with private passenger type vehicles. In Virginia, the Personal Automobile Policy provides automatic coverage for custom equipment on private passenger type vehicles. Please contact us at 1-800-841-3000 or visit us at geico.com if you have any questions or wish to purchase additional coverage for custom furnishings or equipment for your pick-up truck or van."

for one, i just dont like those huge eagle alloy centercaps for some reason, they stick out like 5 inches

second, ive already test fitted these rims on my QX4 and its very very tight fit up front, im not sure a centercap would even fit on this setup!

Yea thats what I meant "I am not sure what you mean by no center caps either. Maybe one that isn't so diesel F250ish and smaller?"

They do look like they belong on a dually or F350 or Diesel Ford.

I think they would look good on your QX but like someone said above you have to have the right style tire I was saying that the center caps look like they belong to a dump truck or something bigger and industrial. I realized years ago that how the tire sits on the rim and the style seal the deal. Even having the side with the lettering looks better than the smooth side of some tires.

Do you think the caps are any bigger than the MT's I have? As you say the picture is 8 lug, so the center cap I would think is bigger in the pic than what you would have. IMO, it might look odd not to have them.

Right on about the tires. You need to make sure the wheel/tire combo works for you. You'll be more limited on the amount of rubber that can be wrapped around a 17". You mentioned the test fit - I assume there was a BFG on it?

I'm a big fan of a black/chrome wheel holding up a black Q though!

Whats wrong with the rims you got? Just throw some bigger meats on 'em & be done with it.
