what do u use to get rid of stank

well my buddy threw up all over my car and this got me thinkin what do u guys do/use to get rid of the smell and or chunks

dunno if you guys have it up there, but at the $.99 store, they sell something called Awesome which is like a goldish color liquid. Dilute it down with some water so that it is not too strong as it is concentrated. Also test to in an inconspicuous area to see if you get color run, and that will clean it really good. As for the smell, keep spraying some car freshener that you like, and eventually it will go away. Nice buddy you got there that he didn't clean it up! Don't let him ride in your car again! HAHA!

As for air freshener, Febreeze seems to be effective. For cleaning, use your buddy's face and rub it in !

where did he blow chunks at? if on the seats, those seatcovers are removable. It will take some work but they are removable. I used to detail my sentra and that included taking the seat back covers and the seat bottom covers off to cold water wash them and then air dry. The whole carpet comes out so you can scrub that with a brush and a mild soap solution.

other than this you might want to invest in having the car steam cleaned.

Steam clean the upholstry, use no chemicals, and then use febreeze (in moderation). Remove the interior from the car before cleaning it.

OH Stank!.... I thought you wanted to know how to get rid of a skank. Sorry can't help with that, steam cleaning sounds like the best way.

My parents own a rug shampooer that has a hand held attachment that worked quite well on a previous car of mine. Mild application of regular carpet soap, hot water, and several hours of working, but it did wonders for the car. Some of the models you can rent from the grocery store have hand attachments, probably much cheaper than paying to have it steam cleaned.

(Gross story ahead, for those who might be offended.)

I had an old roommate who would keep a bottle of Febreeze under his desk, and as soon as he ripped one, he's douse the air around him with Febreeze. I guess it was better than the alternative (this guy must have been eating hot garbage for those smells) but now the smell of Febreeze reminds me of farts.

So! I would suggest using Renuzit. You can use it on air and fabric, and leaves a pleasant, lack-of-smell smell. I've used it on everything from month-old shirts under my bed to heavily-used-but-free couches off of Craigslist.

Well Ill tell ya,May sound stupid but it works great,Go to the fridge grab a few big oranges ,Sit in the car and eat them and enjoy,leave the peels on your dash for the day and night with the windows up.Buy the next day your car will smell great and the smelll of fresh oranges will stay for some time.
