no that scene really happened, it was on the news and everything a few months ago. the cop was let off as the judge saw it as defense because the guy could have been a wacko and been trying to kill the cop or some wierd ****. so the judge saw it as self defense.

Actually, by the police use of force scale if you get verbal with them they can get physical with you, at least in my state. : ) Also, I saw that over a year ago, so it couldn't have happened a few months ago. : )
