what's 940kg in engrish? haha, the reason i ask is cause of this http://www.dimequarterly.tierranet.com/under the tech department--> engine----->horse power calculatorJust curious how accurate it was. Anyways, i'm excited about getting my 510! I'd still like to know how much you guys think it's worth though under that other thread I posted... these forums seem slow... maybe they are only for those people that cars are broken or they don't have one, everyone else is out driving...:thinker

REALLY DUMB QUESTION BY NOOB... in that tech section it only listed weights of the 1200, that's not the same thing as a 510 right...

940kg works out to be 2072 pounds (advp) (lb)

hope thats the right conversion ( it was the only pound thing on it )

anyway...no....1200's (B210's) are smaller than 510's ( called 1600's in NZ/Aus ), but look fairly similar, and VERY light little cars.

and I'm in NZ...so I have no idea what 510's are worth in the states......can't help you there.BUT.....510's are AWESOME cars...you will never regret buying one!

yeah...these forums seem pretty dead to me.....I also go to the forums at:http://www.ozdat.com ( most active )http://www.datnet.organd 1 USA one....but don't go there too often anymore, as most of the guys there are into thier trucks ( Datsun 620's, 521's e.t.c )but they know thier stuff...and there are some 510 nuts on there...http://www.nwde.org

Yeah, my webpage is very out of date....from back when I first built my car with a L20B.I am now almost finished installing a CA18DET :)hoping to have it back on the road in a month or so :)

my '73 2-door with the S13 sr20det, weighs in at 2,080 with 70lbs of gas in it.keep in mind that it does not have a heater system, stereo, back seat, carpet, rollbar. And it does have very lightweight seats.
