I don't know how much we need to press this issue.
do NOT go CHEAP on your turbo kit. If you can't afford good parts DON'T TURBO IT until you can. You will end up wasting more money on cheap parts in the end, as all they do is break.
SS's manifold is absolutely terrible, some people have it hold up - but it's NOT worth the risk in my opinion - as this is your CAR, not just some disposable thing that doesn't matter.
SS's customer service is worse than it's manifold (pretty hard to accomplish that too). Look at his feedback on ebay and see just how many negatives and neutrals he has - yes he has ALOT of positives, but I think the majority of them are people who just look at the part and then give him a positive rating once it comes in - if you could edit your feedback a week or so later i'm sure he'd have much worse, but regardless - don't let his many positives fool you - just look how many negative/neutrals he has and realize it's unacceptable for some "professional" business to have that many complaints.....look at his follow-ups too - most of them are completely childish.
It's your car and your money - but I can almost 100% guarantee you, you will very disappointed in SS's parts.
As for the T25 - it works......they are old turbos, so they don't hold up well, I've blown 2 of them and they were perfect when I got them (no shaft play)...they just spin so damn fast and produce so much heat/pressure things just pop. It's a good enough turbo to start a very basic turbo set up, but I'd recommend either saving up for a good one, or upgrading in the very near future if you decide to go that route.
Good luck with whatever you choose.
