I am looking to swap an S13 SR20DET into my early '86 720 pickup. I have the engine/transmission the ecu, uncut wiring harness and all the other stuff to make it complete. Do I need any other computer equipment to make this work. my pickup has no real electronics in it to hook up to this new ecu.

Is it a 2wd 720? Then you'll probably need the usual.

Um I hope you have a DOHC s13 gauge cluster. So you can see whats going on.

Oh and IDK home much you care but. If your truck's gas tank was for a carbd engine, it might be a good Idea to swap it out for a Fuel injected 720 gas tank. The difference between them is baffling and maybe the pick up. If you keep the gas tank just don't go below like 1/4 tank or so.

Awesome. I do already have the insturment cluster, and the fuel tank is going to be a must because I'm putting an IRS in the back and the stock tank is in the way. By the way, my 720 is a 2wd model. Thanks
