I know I read somewhere about what I need to install a reverse camera in my 06 g35 6mt coupe. I cant seem to find the thread, and was wondering if anyone knew where it is or knew what was needed for this install. The main concern is the device to switch my navigation over to the camera when the car is in reverse.

I won't be a smart *** this time.

The Gs with navigation should already be built ready for a camera, or at least I think so. If this is the case, you just need to find an OEM camera and hook that baby up.

Well, Ive been doing some searching and I found a device called a Pac VCI-X camera interface. It is supposed to be plugged into the navigation and then connected to the camera and it will automatically switch to camera when put into reverse. Anyone try this or know if it works

I haven't used that specific device from Pac-Audio, but its probably just a simple video switch that activates with an input. I use an AVelectronics video switch for the camera on the Titan. I also wired in a manual switch in case I have the bed cover up or am hauling something. Mine also happened to allow me to play video on the nav screen too, so consider using a more advanced switch if you are planning to interface any other video devices into the nav screen.
