A standalone that uses a MAP sensor instead of a MAF, or some crafty plumbing by using the MAF in a blow-through setup after the mounting position of the BOV.

the MAF isnt bothered by boost at all? isnt it ment to read flow at atmospheric pressure?

Has nothing to do with pressure...all about flow. Lots of people do it. Thing is, when you start to run 20+ psi they have a tendency to explode. My friend just exploded his on his SR running 22psi.

Either a VPC, a computer system that's map based, or just deal with the effects of venting Atmospherically on a MAF-based system.

You dont even need a standalone that's on a MAP system. Any standalone with decelleration compensation will do fine. It leans out your mixture automatically when you get off the gas faster than a set speed so as to avoid that extra boatload of fuel dumped into your cylinders after a blowoff.

In that case you don't even need that. Get a SAFC and use the Dec Air function...

that function is useless. I spent alot of time trying to work it, didnt do much of anything.

Just make sure ur bov is nice and tight and doesnt blow off below say 5psi.

I use an HKS ssqv and don't have any problems with the car dying or running crappy with an open BOV.

I have a older HKs too its the super sound,i think. It doesnt open up when im not driving hard .. i got some compressor surge but .. i like that. Im on the side of people who think compressor surge isnt as bad as everyone think.

when i used to run a dsm blowoff, at idle air was getting out .. at every stop it was a struggling to keep the car running
