ok so im buying an avic-x710bt unit and i was wondering what do i need to get with it for the installation? harness, antenna adapter, etc... i already have my subs and amp im gonna use and im pretty familiar in wiring that stuff since i have done a few before. but im not very familiar in installing stereos. i might have someone else do that part but i want to have everything i need. i also need the steering wheel control module. thank you.

For the head unit, you'll need an antenna adapter (Part: Metra 40-NI12), a wiring harness (Part Metra 70-7552), and a dash kit from Nissan for the trim (forgot part number, look in FAQ for link to part). Finally, to keep your steering wheel controls you'll need a SWI-PS for your Pioneer deck.

I think that should be everything, maybe some ground wires for the SWI-PS, but that should be easy to find. I didn't include the wiring for your amp / sub. In which case would be remote wire, RCA cables, ground wire, power wire, and speaker wire.

Good luck!

When I installed my DDX812, I simply unscrewed the factory head unit, and used the factory brackets for my stereo. You should be able to do the same.
