they should be pregapped to 38 for bkr7e, so that should be a good start. Yes, you can gapp iridium just really fragile so take it easy.

You want to spend the time and 'tune' your spark plugs. Basically, you want the biggest gap possible without spark blowout. Every motor is different. Different strength electrical system, wires, battery, levels of boost, ect.

The man has Iridium plugs. DO NOT TRY TO GAP THEM. Leave them where they are, trust me. You will break the Iridium tip off. They are not meant to be gapped. Of course, it can be done, but you are gamb|ing with wasting an expensive plug. I did not know this the first time I used some and ruined two of mine. On a side note, .038" is never a good start for a turbo motor. .028" would be much more ideal. Then go up in .001" increments until you find the blow out threshold.

I've ran my Iridiums at .038 forever. I'm running 15psi and there's no blowout.

good ignition! stock coil? hotwire mod?

I hear .030 is good for 10-12psi, and a tighter gap as you up the boost

Damn.. I just have a blaster ss coil, and magnacore 8.5mm wires... My car ran way worse when I lowered the gap to .030.. espeically out of boost..

You are using the wrong type of gapping tool if you are prying the electrode off the tip. Use one that pulls the electrode back without touching the tip.
