Here is the problem: My father bought some new tires and after discount tire installed, balanced, and aligned them there was still a slight vibration at 65 mph. My dad's a perfectionist when it comes to his car and wanted to fix this. The salesman at Discount Tires told him there were small dents in 3 out of 4 rims caused by speed bumps, potholes, etc. My question: What can i do with the old rims? They're 2003 nissan maxima GLE 7 spoke rims that are in extremly good condition visualy and they still work and hold air fine. Do you think i could sell them easily? I was looking online and they retail for 400$ a piece so it seems like such a waste! Thanks for all your help guys!

You could put them on Ebay or Craigslist, I guess... But I can't imagine there being much of a demand for those wheels. What are the size and offset? You might be able to advertise them as cheap drift spares, but ain't no body gonna pay close to $400 per wheel for those...

Usually Discount Tire contract some wheel repair company to fix bent wheel like this. If you wanna throw money away, I guess you could do that...

17" x 7" 02/03 Maxima 40mm This is the offset information i could find. Discount Tires gave us a discount on some new rims for a little under 500$ so we went ahead and tried that to see if that was the problem. So far it's felt pretty smooth. I liked the stock rims more though. =(
