What do I do if I'm not gonna drive the car for a while?

Probably depressurize the fuel system and disconnect the battery.

if it is going to be a LONG time put vasaline on the sidewall of the tires so they dont dry rot. other than that i think let the pressure out of the fuel system and disconnect the battery should be good.

I'll buy insurence next month, but my battery is so small... I thought if I don't disconnet it, the battery will die soon... or should I run my car once a while?
