guys, i try. its very hard to moderate in here because we have threads ranging from advanced technique to RC car drifting. i really think thats spreading the focus of this forum thin.

so, should we aim for a more technical forum? or leave it as a free for all.

im open to all suggestions on how to make it successfull.

i say more of a techical theme.

like say, the write up i did for novice drifter's on a budget,

and the thread for drifting tips for beginers.

also, for people with drifting question's, have it stickied they have to be

"Serious Inquiries Only"

have all other stuff like rc drifting and such moved to general chat.

technical, but seiorsus. not like is it better to drift with 240 hp ka or 160hp ka. that is wack. and less events posted. that seems more regoinal.it doesnt seem like there are enough people in here though to edit pickily (picky lol didnt know how to say it) beucase it could be slow.

i think there are 2 main reasons we dont get many people here

1) not many people know we even have a drifting forum

2) the focus of this forum. like i said, RC drifting to tech threads. it needs to change.

A fun/technical forum. You know if some interesting things/thoughts come up. Or say someone hitting up a drift event with pictures/videos.

Drift jokes...... we need jokes.

Need to talk about how to properly drift station wagons more...

Seriously, RC cars need to be in general. This forum should be more for the technical side.

I think the problem is that there are already some really good drifting forums elsewhere that were established before this one and have tons of valuble info and resourceful people. The good thing about this forum is that it is a lot more friendly to beginners compared to the other ones. Im not really sure how you would make this one better tho.

You should of been to the last TRP. You would of had competition, old school GMC pickup.

I say we start to talk about the form of drift racing. I want to learn from the pros of NICO.

Seriously, we need to cut down on the stupid senseless drifting.com threads. Everytime I read the drift forum I end up mad wanting to harm someone.

I was there for the drift part....I got in two or three runs and had to leave. You guys were pulling up just as Kamin and I were leaving. If we have another Speed Freaks I'll run you guys in the drag race

You may want to rethink that slogan to "were barely better than drifting.com"

deffinately keep it technical. Videos and pix and events that members have been in would be awesome. Also since it would be tech. noobs can still come in and ask noob like questions and hopefully wont get flammed on too much.

But no more RC drifting, video game drifting, or other stuff that doesn't really apply to our real cars.

Something that i remember a long time ago was that whole "you know your a drifter if.." thread. Stuff like that would bother me if it was in this forum once it was cleened up.

I say we focus as much as possible to real drifting. And help people understand legit drifting.

If i sound hella gay i'm sorry. I just love drifting and had to put in my 2 cents.

Oh and another thing...When 3fast 3furious comes out this, and every other drift oriented forum, will be over flowing w/ new ricer wanna-be drifters. So some strict guidlines might help.
