Well, my first car was a fully loaded '93 corvette (40th anniversary), then I sold it and bought a stripped out Toyota tacoma when I left for college. I slowly turned the tacoma into a sport truck over the years. I also owned two sport bikes, which I sold (Yamaha FZR 600 & Yamaha R6). Now I have a loaded G35c 6M/T on order.
All I can say is that I have never driven a car that even came close to the feeling of the Corvette (especially a luxury car) until I took the G35 on a few test drives. The only performance improvement I could ever ask for was increase acceleration. It's not that the car is slow, it's just that I'm use to the power to weight ratio of the Corvette and the R6 <---both are very quick.
I'm a reciently graduated mech. & aero. engineer who spent several years on a team designing, manufacturing, and racing a small scale indy-style race car in national competition, so when I look for a car to purchase I expect a lot. Since I didn't have $60,000 for an M3 the choice for me was obvious. The G35.
