Hi I am new here. Just bought a 2006 M35 with 51K miles about 3 weeks ago. Loving it so far.

I have a couple questions.

On the sticker and on Carfax my car is listed as M35 Sport. But it does not have the sport (aluminum trim interior) that seems to have been in the sport model.

For the 2006 year what exactly differentiated a model as "sport" and if I just have the regular wood grain interior is mine a sport model or not?

Also i have the Goodyear RSA's on mine. I have noticed and have read in a lot of threads the issues with this tire (and the car) wanting to follow every groove in the road. Is there any consensus on what tire does work best with the M35. I have seen postings about the Michelin Primacy, the Bridgestone Pole Position and the Contis. I still have a decent amount of tread left on the tires so i am sure this is the second set that has been on the car. Dont need tires right now but curious as to what you guys like.

Thanks in advance for any comments.

Take a look at this thread. It's discussing a 45, but the same principles will apply. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I did not think it was a real sport model and the infor in the thread you suggested confirms that.

No metal pedals. No blacked out headlightsNo 19 inch sport wheelsNo idication of RAS

Thanks
