so my coupe does not have a stereo and i need one. i have always used pioneer but some of my friends swear by alpine. what does nico think?

Pioneer = good power for cheap money

Apline = Some of the best audio equipment you can buy period.

In general I would buy used Alpine equipment over new anything else. The only time I've been disappointed with Alpine is there LCD/DVD/GPS equipment.... but in terms of audio quality you'd have to spend twice as much to get something that matches most Alpine equipment in terms of quality.
