Friends car running stock ka24de in a 510.Bought used motor not sure how many miles.Car has been driving fine.Now it started sputtering and idling rough. Checked compression and 1& 2 are at 30 3&4 are 190. Car is not smoking.Not sure what happened.Could it be the rings? Please Help.

Sounds like head gasket to me.
