This winter I am going to be doing body work on my 90 2+2 swapped TT and I'm thinking of going a different color when I get it sprayed. Right now it is the TH1 Midnight Blue. I love the millenium jade green on skylines but I don't think it would suit a z32 very well. I have been leaning towards a dark red. I'm really digging the color of Gino's red Z. Anyone else have any opinions of other shades of red or a different color in general?

I can't really suggest anything... Red is my least favorite color on vehicles... :/

Just that (personal opinion of course) I find that very light reds look cheap, but darker reds look good to me.

I have a love/hate relationship with the attention I get with the red. I'm probably going to repaint mine either black or blue, though that's just me.

I feel like "every" Z is red lol mine included, but a deep red would be nice almost like a blood red. That might be personal preference talking... I've always wanted a blood red car with glossy black rims with a polished red lip on them and matched brake calipers, etc. :rotflmao

Cherry Red Pearl as mine and Z32 Loverboy's are is a very nice color on the Z, as is the Sapphire Blue so you can't go wrong there.
Super White also looks VERY good, perhaps the best color on the Z32 IMO...

Does your z have blue interior?
Super white pearl or black would look dope with blue interior.

^^ OMG the Unicorn Z lol remember the first time i saw it i was literally was like..... woah

If you go red go with a burgandy red that nice dark red (like red wine color) makes the car look real nice. Always liked that red compared to the lighter reds due to the color being more rich

As along as you don't paint it bright yellow. anything other than yellow looks great on a Z in my opinion

The pearl yellow the Z's came with looks fantastic if it's not faded and oxidized.

Are we talking factory Z32 colors? If so here's my favorite in order:
1. Saphire Blue
2. Platinum Mist Metallic
3. Charcoal Pearl

After that, my mind keeps changing between the Metallic Blacks, Cherry Red Pearl, and Cocoa Bronze Metallic.

Non-factory Z32 paint codes: Electric Blue or Bayside Blue FTW!

I wonder how the Z32 would look wearing the same "Deep purple" color as the R32??

Whatever color you paint the car, if it's different than a few shades from the factory, you will need to paint a whole lot more than the outside so it doesn't look nasty. Remember, the door jams, hatch, underside of the hood, radiator support, and engine bay all need to be addressed for a color change to look good.
