Get WHITE! That is the best color you can get for the max.

Thats what I was thinking. Plus its also harder to find a black 5 speed. Plus it'll look great with gunmetal rims. Ill post up the pics of some rims that I was considering later.

Any1 else?

Im pretty much decided on the white now. Ive found some gunmetals made by ADR for $599. I wish they came in wider than 205s.

QN0 (arctic white) will show the least swirl marks of any color, be the easiest to maintain because it does not show dirt too bad, and it's my personal favorite. I also like superblack and metallic navy. I assume you're speaking of 4th gens.

BTW, If you get 17x7 or 18x7 wheels, you can go with 235/45-17 or a 235/40 or 45-18 safely. Do not put 205 series tires on the maxima. It will look like a donut.

Yea I think those are 17x7s, but the package says it comes with 205s. I want 225s or 235s

you asked for opinions...

99% chance that the tires that will come with these wheels are complete crap. I'd buy the wheels and tires separately. You will NOT be happy with the way 205 series tires will handle on the max, and you DEFINEATELY will not be happy with the way they look, especially if you're car is not lowered. My strong opinion is to buy the wheels, save a little and then buy some decent 234/45 tires. 205 series tires on the max=

I'd say black. A sixth gen. Check out the link in my sig ("My Maxima" or "Shift_darkness"). They don't get much sexier than that! I have a neighbor down the street who has a white SL A34, and, sitting next to eachother, I say the black looks a lot better. White would be my second choice though.

BTW, that avatar rules!

Those are nice...But these are my all-time favorite wheel right now. I couldn't find a picture of them in gunmetal anywhere, so...heres the wheels in...whatever this finish is called: These are what are going on my Max (the J30, I like the A34's wheels as they are). In gunmetal of course.

I think he is on a tight budget from what he's been posting, so any wheels made by rays engineering are probably going to be too expensive.

I thought the 6th gen maxima was your parents btw?

White is the best to hide light dirt, and rock chips as well. Blue and black will be horrible to hid rock chips, that's for sure. They also show dirt VERY easily...

How much are those?

IDK what Im willing to pay for rims. I will be ordering a lotta stuff this winter so that everything would be ready by spring time. I should have the car by spring as well.

Sway/strut bars, Tiens/Tokicos, BRM Y-Pipe (IDK bout emissions though) and catback, Injen w/heat shield, and other minor non performance goodies.

Yeah, last time I checked the LE37's went for about $400 apeice. That's why I don't have any.

And yes, the 6th gen belongs to my father, it's not really mine. No way I could afford a car like that! But I still call her mine--it's a pride thing. Plus, it takes less words. Besides, I'm the one who picked the car. He had been considering getting either a 2003 Max or an Acura TL. I changed his mind. And any doubts left after that were quickly abolished with the test drive. So I still get to drive her and call her mine. Besides, the car needs two owners who appreciate it, and my mother is deffinitely not one of those (she'd go with any car that was "cute"), so I fill in that gap. I just wish I had that baby sitting in front of my apartment!

Audtatious is right, black shows dirt that you didn't even know existed! I have to wash my car (the dark-green-that's-almost-black third gen) at least once a week, or it looks like crap. And my dad's A34 is even worse. It seems to have a lot more vertical area, which shows dirt really badly. Plus the gloss in that color makes it worse. His white dodge, however, could go for months without a wash and look just fine...well, unless it was "used" properly

LOL! Well the 95 Im driving now is black so I know this already. I just need to decide on rims. since those would probably be the first thing I do.

Sooooo....5 spokes? or first rim I posted? Any other suggestions?
