What color should i paint my calipers?

the color of my maxima is grey and i cant decide which color to go withthe colora are Black,Silver,Orange and Bluewhich would look good on my car

Black.

It won't look ricer and it won't look overdone. You could go with silver, too. I'd personally pick black, but after all, it's completely up to you. It's your car.

Is it possible to smooth out the calipers before painting them? Or were they designed that way for heat exchange?

I think I'd go with black. Silver is too close to the gray color of your car and might clash. Blue looks sick on silver cars, but not with gray. So black would be your best bet. And you should definitely take 60-80 grit sand paper, sand them down a lil first, then use a fine 320 grit to smooth it out so the paint will stick better. Even without the sanding, though, the new spray ceramic paint sticks like glue! But to be sure, you should sand them down a lil.

make sure you use specific caliper high heat enamel.I would do red....stands out and looks like its aftermarket upgraded.
