What did you use to paint them?MikeisSUPERBAD wrote:im actually mad that my caliper paint has already began to chip and break off.. even after i sanded them down.. and prepped them like a pro...
i think when i have time im just going to paint them silver... to go back to a stockish color
but if i could do it again.. i would say red calipers.. especially on a silver car looks great

Or use an epoxy based paint like the G2 kit.jumpmanvi wrote:Use clearcoat engine ceramic enamel. in my how-to above to avoid chipping.
but our stock calipers aren't painted any color in the first place.. i'd agree though that our calipers are pretty tiny and look kinda funny painted, but i'd rather have them painted than not, i think they look better.alphapig wrote:Any paint but stock looks tacky on stock calipers, IMO.
The stock calipers are silver and when the rust starts coming through its ugly as hell, expecially with open wheels. Any color (almost) is better than rust!alphapig wrote:Any paint but stock looks tacky on stock calipers, IMO.
You can buy the paint on Ebay for $38 shipping included.AubreyTheCoupe wrote:ok what is G2?a type of paint? nd what if i purchase that then i take off the tires spray nd voila?!is it expensive? (that G2)^ sorry for so many questions-.-
