Hey Eric,I have a JWT pop charger w/ the Z-tube, and love it. It comes with a heat shield and you don't have to worry about sucking up water like the cold air intakes. It's easy to install and sounds great at wide open trottle! Injen and Nismo also have good intakes.

I recommend K&N drop in filter, Z-tube and the REV-UP air box, which has a larger velocity stack. The second recommendation is the Stillen CAI.

I have the NISMO CAI for a Z on my G. I really like it. It is a long tube design, and it put the filter low in the fender well. And if I recall it is right about $200-225 at the Nissan dealer.

JWT or Stillen short-ram intakes seem to perform better on the VQ35 engine.

I recommend a PopCharger, Z-tube, and a Motordyne 5/16 spacer for your car.

i hope this thread doesn't turn out to be another debate on whether or not CAI is useless and short ram is better.. remember op is asking what CAI to use...

I have the Injen CAI....It can be used as a CAI long tube or a short ram intake. Seems to work good.

I have the Injen CAI I'm very happy with it...only thing is unlike some of the short ram systems this one goes almost to the ground below your driver side headlight to get more cold dense air. Doing the install on this was super fun haha requires taking off the front bumper apposed to the easy installation of the short rams. I live in a dry climate (Texas) so sucking up rain water is not a real issue for me. If you live in a wet climate you may consider a short ram intake...my opinion
