I am currently sitting on Tein S-Tech springs and have seen numerous people complaining about the ride height. I honestly expected much more.
I want to purchase coilovers for my car to remove the rest of the wheel gap. Currently running 18x875 XXR wheels.
If you can point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated!
Recommendations? Thanks! :dblthumb:

1) Buy 20" or 19" wheels.
2) You can adjust your teins to go low, you just need a good performance shop.
3) ????
4) Profit!

I love your ride height! That's as low as I want to go. I was thinking 19's but the ride is soo good on 18's. I have looked at Megan Racing, BC, D2, and K-Sport to see the difference. I want to do some research before purchasing. Hopefully someone will have good reviews.

Okay, I can speak for BC's because that's what I'm running. I have the new adjusted BC coilovers and I love it. It goes pretty low and the ride quality is OK. You can slam it to the ground with BC's but you'll have to adjust the coils a little bit also.

Not too worried about the ride quality considering Tein are pretty comfy, but I want to go a little bit lower to keep it flush on my fenders. Not into the "Hellaflush" look...just a little lower.

oh you're on springs. Well springs are usually pretty comfy, trust me when I say..coilovers is a totally different world. I don't wanna push ya towards a certain coilover brand, so do your research and you'll see different members with different setups on here then you can decide. ;)

i'd say most popular on here would be bc racing, then d2 after that. a few a running ksports and a few are running teins (from what i've seen). i'm pretty sure i read that the guy who has the teins at the moment says they ride really smooth, but a bad thing about them is they don't go as low as their competitors. in your situation, as you said, you're not looking to be slammed - just kill the wheel gap that springs left.

for your situation, i'd say teins would fit you best if you're looking for the comfiest ride. if not, spend a few hundred less and go for one of the other brands i mentioned. they're all essentially the same, anyways (besides the tein coils which are a more quality product IMO).

Thanks for your input. The funny thing is that they are all around the same price range. I really don't want to end up with s*** coils.

Very nice! How's the ride at that height? Stiff? Bouncy?

Yeah it's pretty stiff. Tbh the ride isnt as bad as I thought it would be. They are bouncier than springs but they actually bot too bad. Worth the money!

About how much did you get them for? I found them for around $950 not including shipping. If someone is selling some used ones in good condition...that would work too. :chuckle:

Yeah the Stillen lip! I originally got the ED lip but it didt fit. Horrible company IMO. My buddy Got some body kits from them And the body shop had to do tons of work to make them fit. Stillen is the way to go!

Yeah! I want to order the Stillen lip as well since I didn't like the front bumper too much.

Haha! Yeah. $300 price difference between the lip and front bumper. I got my C-Mod grille so no point in replacing the entire bumper.
