just wondering...i know youre supposed to break in a new clutch for 500 or so miles before you beat on it, but how the hell are you supposed to break in a metal clutch that you cant slip? i tried my best but i dont think i achieved anything. my flywheel backs up my claim to doing nothing. hehe, it got 0wn3d! im not worried though, i think that flywheel could withstand a direct nuclear assault.

oh, and im wondering what pressure plate i have, its identical to the stock plate but the number on it is different, my ca one had something like "s250" stamped on it whereas my new one has "s550" stamped on it. (not sure if its an "s" or "pr" or something...)

i don't believe metal clutches require any break-in at all.

I WAS using an OS Giken Twin Disc. :) IIRC, it was originally an GTI-R SR20DET clutch.

Hmm....I just put one on my ka24e when I converted it to manual. I've only put about 1k easy miles on it.

Does it hold well?

i havnt heard him complain. it says its rated for 59% over stock. that puts its holding capacity at 254.4lb/ft of torque. since the ca puts out around 166lb/ft stock, you should be juuuuust fine.
