Hey guys I am replacing the clutch and was wondering what clutch to run. Need something to hold 350 to 400HP. I was looking at Exedy's 3puck ceramic. Anyone use this before? I have a clutchmasters four puck ceramic in my GSX Eclipse running 15lbs of boost every day driver and that work good. It chatters a little in traffic, but works great aside from that. Also what do you think about flywheels? Fidanza any good? Should I get one. I don't have one in my eclipse and it runs fine.

Thanks for your help,Jason

A lightened flywheel isnt really necessary, although a lot of people choose to run them. What is necessary though if you keep the stock flywheel is that you should resurface it for when you drop the new clutch it. Any machine shop should be able to do it, and shouldn't cost very much. I personally like Fidanza or Jun Flywheels. As far as clutches go, Exedy is good, but I really recommend RPS clutches.

Exedy Hyper single or carbon series great clutches plus they come with a flywheel. Or I'd just go with a RPS clutch and a RPS segmented flywheel (if they make them for the SR20DET yet) or a Fidenza flywheel. Whiile doing the clutch a good thing to do is to go a head and replace the pilot bushing with a Nismo needle bearing bushing and upgrade the pivot ball with a chromoly one and a SS clutch line. I haven't gotten a chance to research about upgrading the slave cylinder yet to see if it necessary. And of course adjust your clutch pedal and replace your trans. fluid.

I personally like the Nismo Coppermix clutch/flywheel combo. Just like a stock clutch with the added holding capability. If money isnt a problem i got mine for 85000 yen. So about 780 dollars. BTW iam pushing around 350 hp at 1.3 bar (19-20 psi of boost). Very friendly drifting.

Thanks everyone for your input. I ended up buying the Exedy ceramic three puck clutch for 300. I will let you guys know how it works and feels once I get it installed.
