yes it is a heavy setup...not much more than the stock setup...heavier clutches/flywheels will keep an engine in boost rpm ranges between shifting though thanks to all the inertia....

boost will stop as soon as you lift the throttle no matter what rpm the engine is at. no load, no boost. Most likely your rpms will now drop fast enough to rev match the next gear, unless your a slow shifter.

Well now ive got a 280zx fidanza 10.5lb flywheel and clutchmaster 280zx stg 5 unsprung 6 puck. whitebunny on steroids

I use a stock flywheel, ACT extreme pressure plate and street disc. Been running it for about 20,000 miles. Has held up great for daily driving.

I'm about to buy my clutch. My dad recomended I get a CenterForce Duel frcition, thats what he had on his 1956 BelAir and his 1970 SS Nova. He said they were great. I never got to drive them sadly as they were sold before I could drive. Haven't seen much about people using these in a 240sx so I guess I'll be a tester
