What car do you hate?

Ok so there has been a burning question I have had for a while and it keeps popping up every so often. Why do Mustangs get such a bad rap from a lot of people here on Nico? That was my question and I personally don't understand it as most of them (I.E. early models and post 2004 models) are pretty nice. Granted not all are great (any model in my opinion between 72' and 2003) I still don't know why the good ones and most Fords on this forum get a bad rap. When ironically they are often times in better condition and more sought after than any 240 has been. Know flame me if you want but I am the proud owner of a 66' mustang and a 240sx, and if I had to choose which I prefer from a styling stand point the stang wins hand down but seeing as the 240sx is more reliable (being near 24 years younger) I drive it every day and have the mustang as a project. So tell me what you guys think the main reason is for Mustangs being viewed as a sin in the 240sx world and any other cars you all don't like. oh and to the admins I am sorry this is kind of a stupid thread and you may do as you wish I just thought I would ask all the minds of Nico for their opinion. Let the opinions fly.....

As soon as I read, "What car do you hate?". The Mustang immediately came to my mind. Not because it's a domestic or V8 or any reasons like that. Most Mustang drivers are the most annoying people on the road. Say what you say about us import ricers, but seen more Mustang drivers act stupid on the road than I have seen any imports including Honda drivers. Plus they think they rule the street and it brings a smile to my face when my little 4 cylinder can SHUT THEM THE F*CK UP!!! Sorry...I got carried away a bit there.

No it fine and I agree most who drive a stang think " you cant touch me " but ya no I like creating topics for people to think and say what they feel. Now I don't know about most of you but I got my start working on cars and enjoying them with my mustang but I am in the middle I cant choose which I like more imports or muscle cars so I choose both and I hope to be understanding of both I just find it funny when cocky guys in stangs and vettes and what not get smoked by imports like 240's so ya keep comin with comments.

Well, I've had my fair share of run ins with Camaros and Vettes, but I've always wanted a Corvette so I guess that's why GM cars don't bother me as much. For some reason Mustangs just stick out more. I guess it's because they're a more popular car for the younger crowd and the younger crowd's the one that acts stupid most the time. I respect the car for what it is, most drivers just get on my nerves. I even had a V6 Mustang driver talk sh*t to me because I have a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder. That shows how little some of them knows too.

my friend just got an srt-4 they're actually pretty fast,thank god he's not full of s*** from his car.

Maybe it is because of the area I live in but I don't really have a problem with mustangs aside from the fact that the drivers are all like blah blah 'MERICAN MUSCLE

The cars that bother me the most are volkswagens, every highschooler buys one and tries to be cool and takes the exhaust off after the cat and drive around town like morons, I think they have replaced the civic as the annoying, I have a car and act like an idiot people who do the worst cheap stupid mods so they can hang out at dunkin donuts and circle jerk about how such cool street racers they are

Most definitely, by me the golf/getta tends to be the cool tuner car of the new licensed people because they are right in that used car price range of "sporty" and newer. I just despise the trend of "wow my car is so loud and cool cuz I can take the exhaust off" it's just loud it doesn't sound good

Yes, this is the reason why I turned away from the 240 so many times, but only to come back because I do really love this car.

I'll have to throw the Honda guys out there as well. I've never seen a group who runs 14's, 15's, and 16's yet are the most big headed @sses around. They all automatically assume they can smoke every 240 out there because one time their cousin's friend's, brother in law's, unlce, had a B16 swapped into a 4 door Integra with full interior, a low clutch, bald tires and he smoked a random 240 and that 240 definitely had a SR boosting about 20 psi. Tell me this isn't the Honda crowd!!

man, us non-douche 240sx owners need a PR guy.... I hate owning a 240sx because of the stereotype.

I like the 67' stang/gt500 and the 2010 stang/gt500. All other years I hate. I also hate the Prius. Mainly because toyota could have actually made an impact with it if it didn't look like a turd. And most Prius owners think they're God's gift to the earth.

As of model year 2011, V6 Mustangs will no longer be something to point and laugh at. The pitifully weak and ancient 4 liter V6 in the current model will be replaced by a modern 3.7 that'll cross the 300hp barrier. V6 Mustangs and Camaros aren't just there to keep teenaged girls happy anymore, they're legitimate sports cars and damn good deals. Now if Ford could just take care of the Mustang's chronic understeer it'd be a car worth owning again.

Probes are goofy looking, but mechanically they're good cars. They're Mazda products. Engaging to drive and reliable. Very unfortunately named, though.

I harbor no ill well toward any car. My pet peeves are with certain driver typesincluding

chain smoking drivers blasting their toddlers in car seats with second hand smoke

smokers who toss their butts out the car window instead of using their ashtray.

drivers who feel determined to tailgate you or go to great lengths to get ahead you (ok, that one is pretty much is everyone in NJ..) .When lanes merge and certain folks feel compelled to try to prevent you from merging farther down than they did.

AWD vehicle drivers who feel impervious to snow/ice because they're in an AWD vehicle and drive like it's summer.

THIS!!!!Reason:Every SRT-4 on campus has a blowoff valve and exhaust. They all manage to rev to 5k when then need to turn into campus when people are present. Sure you guys sound great but your stock and it's annoying most people are excited and impressed but me as a car person I throw up.

And after all that, it's a Neon. Every high school girls first car. When did it become cool to own a Neon? /frustration

I dont really hate the cars themselves, but I generally hate the drivers. So far I have found out that 95% of all subaru owners are ***holes. They think that their car is the best because it has AWD, and its "fast". They run people off the road, and they bash on other people's rides because its not AWD. I was once trying to convince a subaru owner why Kouki's are sex and he was like, RWD and nissans are s***, AWD for the win.No common sense.
