Hey guys, I am planning on buying a turbo with these specs when I buy my RB25...

T3/T4 Hybrid Turbo Upgrade 500.00 .48t/h .50c/h 57 trim clipped.dry. Perfect upgrade for the RB20/RB25. Replaces Stock turbo. Internally Wastegated, T3 flange.

what kind of spool up times can I expect? Does this seems like a decent turbo for just drivin around town, since I won't be racing that often?

I just don't get the #'s on these turbos yet... :(

way too small..

also you have no idea what size turbine wheel it has, all you know is that the .48 a/r housing it has is far too small.

thanks for the info mattback, I read your reply last night and this morning I was thinking... its too small for what HP? I am only lookin at running a boost lvl the injectors can handle. I don't expect/want a crazy 600 HP 240SX at the moment...

Also, what turbo do you recommend that is within a reasonable price? the one I listed is about 540. I can't afford some insano HKS turbo that runs about 2gs.

Also... with only a lower boost. I hear a lot about hi flowing the stock turbo, do you know of any specific places that do this or will my local truck place that works on turbos be my best bet

you will be best off just satying on the stock turbo if you want to max the injectors. it will easily do that.

then when you want a real turbo, just save up and do it right. make a decent log manifold= top mount setup, and put a good sized t3t4 on it. until then, cya around and enjoy the ride.

the stock turbo doesnt come close to maxing out the stock injectors when you get you clip If you want some thing bigger after you get it running take your rb 25 turbo or a vg 30 single turbo oen and get it hiflowed series 4 or 5 rx7 exhaust wheel series 5 is bigger and a t4 type compressor wheel I'm no turbo expert but a good turbo shop should be able to do it the only down side is you loose the ball baering center it needs a new core. but still spools up fairly earler and wil be enough to max the injectors @ around 14-16 psi. they are a grewat up grade they flow to around 400 450 hp no need for new exhaust manifold or external waste gate. then grab a cooler and an s-afc and you should be fine. the s-afc is important cause you car will run rich as with out it and not make as much power as it can.meggala

Bryson and the rest of the guys here, i'm not affiliated with these guys, but i've noticed on honda boards that they've been raving about the guys at http://www.cheapturbo.com I've seen some of the prices that nissan guys pay for their turbos and it makes me wanna barf out of my nose. I'm jus listing that site cuz hell, it seems reasonably cheap and i thought i'd try to save you guys a couple bucks.

Cheers guys!

all that hype and he didn't even list the AR or trim of any of it.... you'd think the ultimate turbo would be somthing worth bragging about.....
