Ive had this vessel sitting in my garage for a year collecting dust, I grabbed it from a dumpster when a shop closed down. It APPEARS to be made of thick aluminum. It has some interesting logos on it so I dont know if I should mess with it, make something of it, or scrap it for metal.

The nice thick welded handles makes me think I can make it into something cool. Its about 26" high and 2 feet around. It has a weird sleeve inside the hole at the top, it doesnt just open up at the neck.

I wouldn't cut it. It would make a sweet container for recycling oil storage.

Step 1)Fill it with butane
2) build a house of stick and charcoal in, on, and around it
3) set fire with alittle lighter fluid
4) step far away and wait in anticipation

Moral: Very strong containers make a very strong explosions. Besides, 4th of July is coming up so have fun with it :)

I say suspiciously leave it in a public place to see how long it takes your local law enforcement to show up.

The label where it says it is a sealed vacuum, that doesnt mean at all that it would combust or hurt me in anyway if I drilled/cut into this thing does it??

Im still stumped on what to make it into. I dont even know if a metal scrap yard would take the thing

you could just fill it and freeze some random s*** instantly. That'll never get old.

How much does a gallon of liquid nitrogen run these days?

Great ideas, except for the fact that it's aluminum.

Well it doesnt appear to have ever had a lid, so I dont think its "openned"

I cant think of any cool good ideas to make use of it yet though, its pretty big so I dont just want a novelty jug lol

I was thinking of filling it with coins, but that would take 2 decades
