Uhm. Brakes and differentials aren't going to increase your horsepower any. In fact, the increased resistance on the driveline will probably decrease your whp a little. Neither is a different fuel filter (unless yours is broken), and the fuel pump will decrease your power, because you'll run rich with it installed.Riley2.4L wrote:I'm trying to build a pretty decent drifting machine out of my '95 S14. But I figure if I can get some more power outta the KA by using stock parts out of higher performing cars I would save a few pennies. For example I already have plans of doing a brake upgrade using the brakes from a fairlady Z32. I also heard somewhere the Z32 lsd and fuel pump would give you better power and acceleration. If someone could correct me if I'm wrong about these things and/or provide any info on other parts I can obtain from other vehicles to increase performance it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks 4 all the help y'all have already given me Riley
For the Z32 MAF you will need A fuel controller You know you can use parts also from the Skylines and it is the same price.Riley2.4L wrote:So I take it the Z32 mafs is more sensitive and will give a more accurate reading to the ECU on how much air is entering the engine giving a better air/fuel ratio which is a good thing in all cases. the one you bought for $100, where'd u get it? I think I'm gonna hit up a pick and pull or better yet Ebay and see their prices

no what makes you say it puts toomuch weight foward of the axels my RB sits in the same place as my KA in fact it sits further back than the KAShionS14 wrote: it will fit and its better than the RB because it doesnt put as much weight forward of the axle
