I want to get as much power as possible without going into internals with the exception of cams, i dont wanna do head work, pistons etc....could somone list what i need to do/get?

so far this is what i can think of

Intake-Injen w/ CAI extension

Unorthodox Pulleys

Cams(i donno what kind, i havent found any yet)

Hotshot Headers

Larger Throttle Body (i dont know what is good for this either)

New Fuel Computer (something stand-alone so i can use it once i go SR in a year and a half or so)

New Clutch/Flywheel (SPEC/Unorthodox)

i have a tanabe medallion cat back exhaust and an OBX short shifter. otherwise my car is stock.

your list is a good starton the throttle body, the only way you will get better flow than what you have already is to go to 4 indevidual throttle bodies.

If you give us a few weeks, Lime Creek Motorsports will be offering an entire sheet metal intake manifold as well.

"...maybe a year and a half or so, until i can go SR" then I wouldnt mod the engine at all, except a high-flow cat/test-pipe exhaust, fuel pump, etc...pre-turbo things that will help once you drop the SR in, I'd also put money into a LSD and the suspension.

That way, you wont waste money on the engine your about to pull out, then have to try and sell all the componenets again...and since you'll probably save some money that way, you could get the SR sooner.-chet

"what about a phantom grip"

what about it? its cheap. period. its not a substitute for a LSD, you can get a LSD for 300 dollars, versus 150 for the P.G> and isntall(probably another 100 dollars)...

and its still not a true LSD. dont waste your money, esspecially if your going to go SR, which in itself isnt cheap. dont do things half-assed man....do it right the first time so you dont regret it.-chet

wow, you guys are good. I was about to post a question, but it was already answered a couple of times. one that wasn't: I'm also gonna save for the sr, and suspension is a big thing I'm going to work on. I would like to practice drifting , but will I still need to upgrade the transmission? (lightened flywheel, clutch) probably will be looking for a used i/h/e & crank pulley if I get bored.....

i'd say, get a heavier duty clutch and maybe a lightened flywheel cuz drifting is really heavy on the clutch (as if we all didnt know that lol)

but suspension is a must as is an LSD
