Howdy -

A while back I purchased a 1989 240SX (SOHC) for $1,000. Now i've got a good job, and I want to do something to this car, but what?

New Body kit?

Paint Job?

Performance?

This is KA24E...what I can I do with this? Turbo? Someone... anyone have any suggestions on what to do with this car? My goal is to "spiff" it up, make it look nice ...Cosmetically, i'm not really into racing, I just don't want to drive this car around looking all ugly as it is right now. OH and there is a racing exhaust on it... it was there when I bought it. Must've been there for a while, because the parts where it should look chrome, aren't. Anyways, any help or ideas i'd appreciate it.

Oh, anyone from the States order from PDM racing? Thanks.

think about something you would like to do with your car, i.e. bodykit, and type "body kit" into the search filed. then submit it. read as much as you can, come up with some ideas, then get back to us.

go back, substitute "body kit" for "ka24e turbo." repeat the aforementioned process.

turbo charge the motor AFTER you build the motor or put a rb25det in it! thats what I did! and it was fast!!! (best 1/4 mile time was 12.9 sec!!) but do what you want, its your car! have fun with it!

Thanks for the Replies.

I'm probably gonna go with a new bodykit/paint, rims and tires for now.

Sorry for the bad quality, took it with my phone. We just moved so my digital camera is in some other box.

My advice?

Get it AS CLOSE to the condition it was in when it was new as you possibly can.

This means change EVERY fluid, replace ALL the rubber (hoses, belts, bushings, seals, etc), get an alignment, replace all tune-up parts (cap, rotor, plugs, wires), replace the water pump, thermostat, clutch fan, and coolant.

THEN you'll have a great start on modding it.

I HATE seeing a car with a $2000 body kit that leaks oil. That's just retarded.
