TURBO!!!! >=D

otherwise get rid of your clutch fan, get a CAI, grab an ASP underdrive pulley, header, and a nice exhaust, and call it a start.

Search! :oface

The KA responds nicely to the boost >=D

everything is gravy but upgrade the fuel side, and look to run around 5-10psi with ignition timing that reflects this and your set.

all I can say is dont drop JDM build up a turbo ka. Larger displacement makes for more power. Turbo that SOB.

any motor can be modded. You need to decide what kind of power you want out of it, then mod from there.

Your gonna make me laugh. Your giving credit to the engine because of aftermarket support. IF that is the case drop a edelbrock in your car there is plenty of aftermarket for those.

I hate to say this but its how you use what you got that makes you good at cars or whatever you decide to get into. GO buy a clean sr for 2500 when you could rebuild a racing style KA for that much or less. Even if the sr has a setup for turbo. Your gonna put a intercooler and all sorts of doohickies on your SR which makes the cost relevant to just turboing a KA.

WDracing is making kits as we speak and damn they are a good speculative price for what you get. In the end more power is derived from how you tune it how you take care of the engine and how you put it together peice by peice. End up with a ****ty SR and your gonna end up rebuilding it anyways. Save your money and time trying to search for parts for the SR engine here in the states. Instead you can just go buy a alternator around the corner at a napa or something rather than direct ordering it from MARS.

my two cents

you are right you can build up a ka however the sr will be able to take more and handle more power.. You can build up the sr as and i can promise it will do better...with a whole lot more power.
