I've been searching and haven't come up with anything. I recently picked up a ca and don't want to dump a lot into it, but do want to know if the S15 T28 will over power my clutch at say, 10lbs? I'm sure the 370s can handle it, but I don't know about the stock clutch. I know the answer is to upgrade the clutch, but I really don't have the cash to throw around.

To answer your question, not much.

about 10-15% more torque so roughly 180-190ft lbs at the crank. get a spec stage 1 and call it a day.

Really?!? That sucks to hear, sounds like I'll be dumping more into this than I was planning.

Look what I found:

Probably a bad idea, lol

If you can afford a new clutch I'd put one in, if not, just leave it. The worst that can happen is it starts to slip and you have to buy a new one anyway lol

the clutch wont handle much more than what the stock turbo can do on 10 or 12psi. Wastegate on the s15 t28 is 10psi. the ca turbo is smaller than an sr t25 and we all know the s15 t28 is even bigger. the s15 t28 will put you around 200whp and close to 200wtq at 10psi so the clutch will basically hate you. the stock 370s will handle it just fine. my best friend has an sr for his dd and it does just fine on 10psi, both of which have 370s. if you have the money for a t28 upgrade spen the extra $200 or so just to get a good stg1 clutch. most of them will hold 40-50% more torque and should hold that turbo just fine

The engine came with the turbo. If I get a clutch I'm gonna want to up the boost. I wonder how far I can go on everything else?

with the stock maf about 12psi which is about how far u an safely push it with the stock fuel system. anymore and larger injectors and bigger maf will be required. 550's, n60 maf and a Jim Wolf rom tune should get u close to 300ish numbers with the s15 t28

That's good to hear. I'll probably be happy with that for a while. Forgot to add, the car has a 255 walbro and I have evo injectors that I've been trying to sell for some time, I'll drop them in if I feel the need for more power.

Got em' cleaned and tested already, flowed around 600. Asking 250, maybe I'm asking too much?
