Anyways, i love this bumper style, im thinking its a oem bumper made custom but where do you buy the air vent things next to the liscence pl8 holder?

So i just need to know if you could buy a bumper looking like this (w/o lip) or do you have to buy the air vent pieces separate?

I want it looking like this, w/o lip since im poor.

bh answered the vent question, but the thread title asks what bumper it is and that answer is oem kouki. they can run a little pricey, but just look for a good deal. i paid $100 for mine.

i think the kouki front needs a lip to look good. id personally rather have a pignose front with the oem lip than a lipless kouki front.

id just get the version select reproduction and put some vents in that. way cheaper.

brian - looks way better with the lip. necessary.

No doubt about it. It's a gorgeous bumper, but I don't know why it doesn't look right on the vert otherwise I would have gotten it long time ago.

those are fighting words

i'll admit the lip makes it look waaay better but even lipless its a nice looking bumper. i def plan on getting the lip before reinstalling the type x aero and painting it but the lip is like 4x what i paid for the bumper.

I'll just throw this question in this thread because there is no point in me creating another one for it. I want to buy the kouki aero so bad because personally it looks so great.

But the factory paint on my car is in great condition and i do not want my entire car sprayed.

What would i be looking at for getting the aero parts matched for the car price wise? And what are the possibilities for this paint job to even match the actual white on my car? No i would not take it anywhere s***ty. I would pay the price for the job to get done right.

I believe what they do is color blend from fenders and hood. Probably somewhere under a grand, but don't hold me to that. IMO, without blending... its white...cant get that far off.

Your OEM paint should be easy to match - Hell, the paint shop will have the color code from the door sticker... it'll be damn near identical.

When I kitted my 'vert, I walked in, asked for a quart of KH3 Super Black, and shot it at home - Matches perfectly.

This makes me feel much better about it. I have friends who paint so i could have them do it for me! I'm gonna give this some though. I just gotta justify paying for all the aero. Do i want it that bad?

It's white.

Not much room for fading.

I agree, tho - If anything, it might have yellowed somewhat, or the gloss will differ. Not enough to matter - It's a 240!

normally a competent body man can match your color even if its faded slightly. even with white there's a difference. the place that painted my hood and fender just mixed the oem white and didnt match it to the car at all so it was very obvious that it was resprayed.
