why not go for the Hella housing?PapaSmurf2k3 wrote:This thread is relevant to my interests. Those lights you've got look good.
I really should upgrade the lighting in my 240. Last time I checked though, LED housings were $300+, which isn't gonna fly for me.
Dam they would look really nice Hope you keep the Z thoBusyBadger wrote:I'm not using any right now, but I've always loved what Clear Corners puts out. I've toyed with the idea if having a set done for my Z if I end up keeping it...but they're about as far from inexpensive as you can get.
cool thanks for the link its good too know theres options out there for me in case i decide to change my current set up i have the Lasfit 36w per bulb 4000 lumens per bulb 6k color. Which ones did you get from ledhedlightpro and hows the visibility at night? Thanksfloat_6969 wrote:I started out with Plasmaglow, but the lifespan wasn't acceptable, so I switched to http://www.ledheadlightspro.com/. It's only been a year, so time will tell, but so far they've been good. I was also able to get them in a much higher wattage than what I did from Plasmaglow.
cool the aftermarket housings for the 240sx flip ups use h4 bulbs so i might give them a shot thanksfloat_6969 wrote:They were for my Mazdaspeed Protégé. I got the H4's (high/low), white, 45W (per bulb)
I had thought about it, but a lot of the H4 LED bulbs have big heat exchangers off the back of them that I fear would catch on something as the headlight flips up and down.xXMirageXx wrote: why not go for the Hella housing?
Sounds good ill get that done as soon as i get the housings and bulbs currently my car dosnt run due to needing a good engine mine currently giving me infinite problems with questions i cant find answers too lol but electrical works and i should be able to test the flip function and report back with what i found video sounds good?PapaSmurf2k3 wrote:I had thought about it, but a lot of the H4 LED bulbs have big heat exchangers off the back of them that I fear would catch on something as the headlight flips up and down.xXMirageXx wrote: why not go for the Hella housing?
