I am going to purchase my 550cc injectors this winter, along with rocker arm stoppers, valve springs, metal head gasket, tubular manifold, and greddy e-manage.

If you have any experence with a particular brand injector, (i.e nismo, tomei, blitz, etc) good or bad, I would appreciate your opinion.

If you have any experence with any of the other upgrades I have planned, your opinion on those will perhaps prevent me from buying the wrong product.

Thank You

Nismodave

I dont think SRd knows what he is talking about : )

jwt doesnt make injectors AFAIK.

JWT sells msd injectors, or accel or something, american top feed injectors, to be used with their custom fuel rail if i remember correctly

I don't think alot of companies make their own injectors...kind of like the HKS Iridium spark plugs are made by Denso and marked up 100%

well what i meant was that JWT doesnt sell JWT injectors, they will sell you MSD injectors....they dont call them JWT injectors AFAIK, and SRds14 was the first to say that : )plus i was just busting his balls....

but those spark plugs do say HKS on them :D

what the difference between top and side feed as far as performance goes, is one better than the other?

no, not really...most domestic cars are top feed, a lot of japanese cars are side feed...american top feed are pretty cheap, but they are high resistance (or u will fry your ecu) or impendence or whatever, so they need a resistor when used for our cars, and a custom fuel rail that would incorporate the top feed injectors.....Side feed are convinient because they "drop in" the stock fuel rail (for the correct application of corse).....but if your going for large injectors, going the domestic route with a custom rail usually saves some money, but its not a direct bolt on or drop in....

oh, and the domestic inj. are sold in lbs. not cc like jdm injectors, so a 72lb. msd injector vs. a 740cc tomei injector...it might flow somewhat different, or a 50lbs msd injector vs a 550cc nismo injector..

SR20 injectors are side feed/high impedence. Almost injectors over here are denso. Don't worry about the makers name, just the flow. People will pay more for a name, when the performance is the same.
