what better c18 ka24 sr20

whats better a ca18det or ka24de or sr20, my friend want to sale me a ca18det for 1500 and he says that you can swap it without cuttin and welding sounds really easy. i really dont want to put a sr20 cause with the money that i will put in to it it seems i could jus get a rb26 swap, my goal is to make 12s then 10s and what ever after that is good, but i need to make 10s and better can you help me

i personally think the ka24 would be a better motor cause if you take off the turbos off the ca18t and the sr20 the is jus a lil better then the ka24de, but the ka24de is the motor that is in my car and i dont have to swap it, i jus dont know if i was to boost it, it will last as long as the sr20. and another thing is that the up grades seem to be limited by not have a variety for the ka

The KA is better. See you've answered your own question in your thread, so you didn't need a response from the CA community.
