Mine just died and it kinda pissed me off, had to push the car

anyone recommend a good battery, i know optimas are like the best but do they make them with the box for the trunk ?

my battery is in the trunk.

question 2

my car seems to be missing, almost backfiring.

Some people said its mostly the coilpacks so i got some but they havent come in yet.

Can you guys think of anything else, can it be a fuel problem ?

Optimas are nice. What is even nicer about them is you can put them in open air in the passenger compartment, or whatever, because they don't leak or produce gas. You can easily make a custom tie down for them, or if you really want you can get optima boxes off of ebay.

I would post my setup, but photopost is down.

I have the rear of my car gutted, and a redtop sitting on the right side of where the rear seat used to be. I have it sitting on a battery tray, with autozone tiedown strap. It doesn't move much, never gives me problems, and passes tech.

No problem man. Basically you don't need a box for an optima, so you can put it anywhere and secure it with anything.

you just bought a coilpack without even testing your current one? start simple - check your plugs. make sure they arent fouled and that they are gapped correctly. double check your timing as well. good luck semir.

I'm using an Odyssey PC-680, pretty nice if you don't have a huge power load. Very small battery, plus it's a Drycell... So no acid to worry about if the battery cracks.

i wanted to originally go optima when my battery was going... ruled that out as totally not needed though.

went to A/A and just got a Titanium. plenty of cold crank power, etc.
