I'm no expert on SCCA Solo II, but I would assume with the SR motor, you're probably in Street Modified (SM), which is a pretty wide group.Of course that assumes you're doing SCCA Solo II.

As of last time I was reading the SCCA rule book(year ago?) there were also rules about bushings, and maintaining the same amount of rubber as stock...

I forget how they word it but basically if it was a rubber bushing before, it needs to be some kinda polly or rubber now.

I.E. new T/C rod with metal bushing = much higher class....

Sounds like with the engine work and tension rods, along with relatively stock suspension you have no chance of being competitive

The bright side of that is you wont have to worry as much about picking up that last .1 second, and can concentrate more on having fun and learning.

There are plenty of other groups that host events then SCCA though, They range from not even asking about mods with everyone running in the same class, to being as demanding as SCCA...it really just depends on who you are running with and how strict they want to be.
