What AUTO transmission will hold 300whp?

I want auto because will be dragracing a lot. It should hold at least 300whp. What to go for? Can 300ZX transmission be swapped into S13?

Yes, but supposedly the NA z32 Auto trannies are pretty similar to the KA Autos when it comes to strength. Not real tough. Also heard the TT z32 Auto can be built tough. Not sure about running a stock one at 300whp though. Maybe someone else has one....

I think the stock transmission with some nice transmission fluid and a cooler could hold 300

no. far from it.

guys, the 300zxtt has 300hp stock. it will be able to handle at least 300hp from a ka.

you might as well use the stocker. it shouldn't have too much trouble with 300.

I think I recall reading something about Ivan from AMS using a TTz32 auto transmission when he drag races. Try asking on KA-t.org.

ivan did run a z32 auto, i believe he's switching to something else(maybe C4), or prolly still has it.

as for the ka, if you add a transmission cooler and good oil it should hold 300rwhp, believe GEO is runnin auto on his with IAP kit(don't know hp though)

I very very much doubt that stock KA auto transmission will hold 300whp when dragracing. I think it will cope with 200-230whp, not much more.How many do you know that do drag launches with 300 whp on KA auto?
