My Z is my dd, but I'd like to put her in a garage and make her a weekend car. But how the heck can I do that, when any money I save goes into fixing the Z! lol

Yeah im worried about miles i want to keep the same motor in it its crossed 206k already and I drive ALOT. Im the same way all money goes to the z but i got it to a point where it has problems but is running reliable so i just bought the lude while i have a chance lol. However theres some noises under the hood that concern me which forced me into buying the lude sooner so the z can have a better vacation in the shop

Mines a 98' Pathfinder 4x4 with 31x10.5" tires and a 2" lift. But for the past month all I have been riding is my 2008 H-D Nightster with Vance&Hines short shots,SE intake and fuelpak. I feel so bad for my Z and pathy as its been so long since I've driven either.

My Z was supposed to be the DD, but Since I refuse to waste money on paying somebody to do what I can do (and time being scarce) Ive been driving a TANK!!! 06 Lincoln Navigator.

2001 Corolla, been giving me some s*** as of late, but overall a pretty good car. Other current DD is a 1997 Specialized StumpJumper Custom

Before that I had a handmedown 1998 Chevy Malibu, what a POS that thing was. HATED everything about that car.

Before that was a 1995 Geo Prizm LSi (same thing as a same year Corolla), got 274k miles out of pig before I donated it to charity

I would absolutely DD the TTZ if I lived somewhere it never snowed and people actually knew how to drive. But that utopia doesn't exist I'm afraid.

yeah, moral of the story, don't trade your s*** in. They sell privately for double the trade-in value.

DD is a 1993 Toyota Corolla 2.0D (diesel with 72hp). Nothing like driving it for a couple of weeks and then take the Z for a ride! ;)

Now, lets see how many of you have a clue of what that is without asking google. :)

Haha you say that like a Toyota Corrolla isn't one of the most common cars on the road over here.

:) Been in the States a couple of times and the smallest thing I saw was probably a VW Golf VR6... So I wasn't imagining a Corolla there...

I guess I didn't stay long enough or I just kept turning my head to V8 sounds and didn't even notice the smaller things all around me... :D

Corollas, civics and v6 mustangs own the roads here, and if you come to TEXAS its those plus Turbo Diesel trucks, everywhere.

so what is petro going for per liter over there anyways? any decrease since Portugal seemed to avoid a sovereign debt crisis?

No decrease whatsoever. There as been some discussion that we didn't even see a drop in prices that would follow the price of the oil barril.

So at the moment for 94 octanes (98RON over here) it is about $2 per litre or $7 to the gallon. :(

Here is a up-to-date table with prices from BP:
95RON (91oct)- €1.419/litre - $1.822/litre - $6.897/gallon
98RON (93oct) - €1.559/litre - $2.002/litre - $7.578/gallon
Diesel - €1.199/litre - $1.539/litre - $5.825/gallon
Diesel extra - €1.279/litre - $1.642/litre - $6.215/gallon
GPL - €0.718/litre - $0.922/litre - $3.490/gallon

It can get pretty expensive pretty quickly to drive a z32 around here... Factor in a average salary of $1000 per month...

How are the prices in the US now?

I roll deep with my wifes 2005 Mazda 3; I lie to myself and say its Midnight Blue, not PURPLE... I drive my Zed about three times a week; but is misfiring so yeah it sucks right about now.

Well, today at Shell in Jacksonville, Florida i got 93 octaine for $2.799.. suddenly that doesnt seem too bad of a price to pay. i would freakin walk almost everywhere if i had to pay over $7

Again, factor in that US average weekly income is close to $1000... 4x more than here... And then those $7 would feel like $28 to you...

A full tank here costs me about $120-130... Or 1/2 of the average Joe weekly salary...

Different place, different reality. Not to make you pitty us or anything. Just making a point that gasoline isn't as cheap as in the US everywhere. ;)
