Hi Guys. New to the forum but I see there is a lot of good information here! Had a couple of questions that I hope someone out there can answer. Just took delivery of my new 3.5 SE w/ premium & tech package last Tuesday. I'm looking for new wheels for the ride and just wondering what people out there are putting on. Not sure what would look good without dropping the car, 18"s or 19"s. Not sure of the offset either? what is the stock offset? If I bought staggered wheels, what should the offset be? Is NISMO planning to put out products for the coupe? ie wheels, suspension drop, CAI, etc.

All I know is that I love this car and it is so fun to drive!...way better gas mileage than my 07 Toyota FJ Cruiser 6MT!

Thanks in advance guys!

I'm running 18x8's +45 offset on 225/45/18. I'm planning on dropping my car 1" with Eibach Pro-Kit springs just to fill in some fender gap space. Factory offset is +45, but you'll definitely clear with +42 to +48 if your 8" wide. I ordered 7mm spacers because I want my wheels flush with the fenders.

I wouldn't recommend running staggered on a FWD car. Just go with 8" or 8.5" all the way around.

Thanks for the info and tips generic808! As for the drop kit, why not wait for NISMO to put one out? Why Eibach? How much does it cost? Is it out for the coupe? How will the drop affect your cambers? When I dropped my Acura CL, I went with Neuspeed springs and Tochicko shocks. when I did that, I had to get engals chamber kit. Total drop cost me about $1500

Sorry for all the questions...and thanks in advance!

The reason I go with Eibach's is because of reliability and past experiences using them. The pro-kit only drops the car an inch, which is what I want. I don't want to be hassled by every other cop because my car looks like a ricer. There is a very good balance between performance and drivability with the pro-kits because they are progressive rate springs. They ride much better than any other spring I've experienced. I ran the Sportlines on my old 240sx which had a 1.6" drop, and I really didn't like the ride too much. It was a bit bouncy for me. I feel the pro-kit's are the best springs on the market. Of course, many will disagree, but I love Eibach! Your best bet is to find people running different types of springs and base your conclusion then. I'm pretty sure most of the adult population will choose pro-kit's over the rest. Just my opinion.

Here's a little comparison chart I just found online comparing the Eibach to H&R. The H&R handled a few-HUNDREDTHS of a secon faster, which would NOT be noticeable. So you see, the Eibach is a good balance between ride and performance. That's my cup of tea

So are the Eibach prokits available for the coupe yet? if so, how much are they. BTW,..nice Nismo wheels! They look sweet on the SE-R!

Forgot to ask. Are you going to change your shocks and struts too or are you going to run factory with the eibachs?

That's the good thing about Pro-Kit's, you don't have to change anything else unless you want to. They're progressive rate and they're designed to work with factory struts and that's where they give you that "almost" stock ride comfort. Trust me, they are the best riding springs available. I'm just waiting for a local retailer to bring them in because shipping is almost $100 to Hawaii!! Stillen sells the springs for $229 but shipping to Hawaii was something like 80 bones
